Meadowbank Park - Netball Court Conversion and New Amenities Building

Provide your feedback on the concept plan

In November 2019, the City of Ryde Council adopted the Meadowbank Park and Memorial Park Masterplan which included upgrading the current netball courts to two natural turf sports fields and the consolidation of the two existing structures to deliver a new amenities building servicing the central hub of Meadowbank Park.

The proposal also features the addition of pathways, seating, tree planting, lighting, an additional half basketball court and fitness station.

The project is co-funded by Council and a $6 million grant from the NSW Department of Planning and Environment (DPE) Accelerated Infrastructure Fund Round 3.

Council is currently in the initial design phase of the project and is on track for an expected Construction start date late 2024/early 2025.

Whilst the works outlined have been adopted and will continue to proceed, we invite the community to provide input on the draft concept plans for the Netball Court Conversion & New Amenities Building.

Consultation closes Sunday 5 November 2023
